to cope with life? hmm music, playing with my son and nephew, watching the wonderful Scotland Rugby team thump the French, 20...16. Hmm remembering that there are people far worse off than I will ever be.

Well things are a bit hard just now (but no one has died) so they are not THAT bad - but... I am trying to be positive - get outdoors more, walk more, and am learning to identify SOME of the local bird songs... all this has also had the unexpected plus of meeting lots more new people *smiles*

I try to think positively, talk to people or write in my journal when I have problems or just feel like expressing my feelings. Also, I tend to pace around a lot while thinking or talking to others, especially over the phone. I do that just to move around because I guess it helps me think more easily sometimes. But when I'm depressed and don't feel like writing or talking, I usually just want to lie down and go to sleep.

1. Read
2. Write *never read it afterword*
3. Paint
4. Listen to really, really loud music
5. Do some sort of aerobic exercises
6. Take a nap; you'll feel better after a nap
7. Go for a walk outside
8. Go for a drive (if you're a blindy; have a list of people that can take you palces; even if it is just out food shopping or something)
9. Yell in to a pillow
10. Call a friend, send a friend an email; just, basically, tell someone how you feel.
